We earlier commented on the hip&humorous nature of many of the Arab-world protests, reminiscent of mai soixante-huit. And despite the increasingly cloudy atmosphere in Yemeni society and politics, here is a new and beautiful tribute to the Yemeni people.

At the same time, we must concede… the popular uprisings have no monopoly on striking performance-art. Here you can read about a Syrian flag over a mile long, born aloft through the streets by a vibrant people … only… pro-Assad people.
Homo sapiens is indeed difficult to figure.
