Over the years, I have often sipped the pure waters of this spring:
And now, to my delighted surprise, there appears a mathematically/philosophically quite sophisticated refutation of… well, some sad piece of nominalism, worth noting only because it issues from… but that is sadder still.
Anyhow -- let us hoist a tankard of the hoppiest ale (perhaps a couple or three, while the time is ripe, since Lent is not far off), in celebration of this signal intersection of Theology and Mathematics:
