I am reminded of the writings of Baldrick, a servant of the Prince Regent's butler, Blackadder, whose contribution to the language included the dictionary definitions of "dog:" "Not a cat" and "C": "Big, blue wobbly thing what mermaids live in". His "magnificent octopus" was a semi-autobiographical work that reads "Once upon a time, there was a lovely little sausage called Baldrick and it lived happily ever after".
