A couple of months ago, the airwaves were ringing with the
assonant catchphrase “
fiscal cliff”.
Then we all got tired of it, so the subject is now being recycled under
a more sedate designator, “sequestration”, or (somehow more ominously, as were it The Spectre or The Prestige) "The Sequester".
Here we go again.
We are reminded of the wise words of Mr Dylan:
And me I wait so pa-tient-ly
trying to find out what price
you have to pay to get out of
going through all these things
twice.
